The city boasts of public recreational areas such as the Ibom Connection and the prestigious Le Meridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort which is the largest hotel in the West African region, Other sights in the state include Ibom Tropicana Resort, which includes a 16-story 4-star hotel, a dome, a cinema, a shopping area, water parks, and other recreational facilities. The city which is a tourists dream has a museum which houses the history of the people. The city also has a 30,000 capacity stadium (Ibom International stadium) .
